Junior
The 2025 season is well underway, and we are delighted to see increased activity among children and young people.
We are looking forward to a new season with many children and young people with us at Holtsmark Golf Club. The junior offer will be expanded in 2025 and new resources have been deployed to make our junior group as good as possible.
The junior training will focus on the joy of sports and golf, and will be adapted to both age and ambition level according to The Golf Association's rules for children's sports. Our values are joy, mastery and golf for everyone.
The training sessions are held by PGA Pro Henriette Syr together with PGA Coach Frode Larsen, who can offer a varied training program with high golf expertise. New this year is club golf, where Henriette will facilitate fun and games on the golf course.
As a starting point, the training group is divided into three subgroups based on age and skill.
- Knot golf 5-8 years.
- Age group 9-12 years
- Age group juniors 13-19 years
Trainings for the season look like this:
- 9-12 years, Monday 1700-1830.
- 13-19 years, Monday 1830-2000.
- Kids (5-8 years), Thursday 1700-1800
- Large group (9-19 years), Thursday 18-1930.
The first training session is on Monday, May 6 and continues throughout the season (holiday in July).
Everyone is welcome to our junior training sessions. Whether you're a complete beginner or an elite junior, there will be training and challenges to suit you.
Would you like to come and try? Then just show up! Everyone can come and try for free for 3 weeks before membership is required.
Training fees for 2024:
5-8 years 500 SEK
9-14 years 750 SEK
15-19 years 1200 SEK

A Junior class has also been established at Daikin Onsdagsgolfen for those who want to try their hand at tournament play. It's especially cool for those who want to try tournament play in a safe environment on a familiar course. This is a nice ‘step up’ to the Narvesen Tour.
Some of our Juniors have started playing Narvesen and Srixon Tour and are putting Holtsmark on the map with great results! We encourage as many people as possible to sign up for the Narvesen Tour via the link that you can find on our Facebook page.
