The club championship was played at the weekend with record participation
The 2022 Club Championship will go down in the history books in several ways. Not only did we have a record number of 129 participants, but we also introduced some new classes.
The Club Championship is a celebration of the club and its members. It's the one weekend in the season where we can get together and play golf together. This weekend shows that we have a fantastic environment in our club. You members should take credit for that. It's so nice to see that players across generations sit together and chat and laugh after the round, and that you manage to have an incredibly nice time out on the course. All in all, KM 2022 was a mega success in every way.
This year, it was particularly pleasing that we had our own junior class again. It has been many years since the last time, and we hope this class just grows and grows in the coming years. In addition, we had introduced a Senior Men's KM. Here it turned out to be tough competition right up to the 18th green on Sunday. Caj Holm and Bjørn L. Bjerke fought for the victory, and it wasn't decided until the last putt was made.
