The road to golf courses
The Veien til Golf (VTG) course gives you a fun and practical introduction to the many facets of golf, such as basic hitting techniques, rules, safety and, not least, what to look out for on the golf course.
Who is the VTG course suitable for?
The VTG course is suitable for both children over the age of 13 and adults who want to learn to play golf. For children under the age of 13, participation in the club's junior training sessions or specific VTG junior courses is recommended.

How the course is conducted
The course is divided into 3 parts, theoretical, practical and games. The theoretical part will be sent to you by us 1-2 days before the course date. You do the practical part together with a resource person at Holtsmark. This is one day from 0900-1500. You will then play 18 holes during the season. NB! These do not have to be 18 holes in a row, and you have the whole season to complete them.
What does it cost?
The VTG course costs 500,-. In addition, there is an optional mandatory membership in the club. It is possible to upgrade your membership if you wish. A full overview of all our memberships can be found here here. The club also has groups and various activities for those who want to learn more and get to know the environment better. If you don't want to join Holtsmark Golfklubb, the VTG course costs 2000,-.
NEW! This year, Holtsmark Golf organizes VTG training every other Monday at 1800-1900. This is completely free for everyone who takes VTG courses with us this summer.
